Walking back in the early morning I got this present handed to me.
Kids Build Soybean-Fueled Car

Five kids, along with a handful of schoolmates, built the soybean-fueled car as an after-school project. And it can go from zero to 60 in four seconds and get more than 50 miles to the gallon.
Makes you wonder… why wasn’t this world news?

Nothing special, nothing new, but great fun. With my just acquired mixer, a small oven (given by friends), my two sons fighting over who’s doing what. And after waiting and waiting and waiting … eating the hot cake as a desert.
A worthwhile initiative by Teun van de Keuken of de Keuringsdienst van Waarden and I guess it will also be a marketing hit (in Holland anyway). And hopefully it will shake up the chocolate industry who are not doing anything to prevent (child) slavery. I’m a big fan of chocolate and most of the time
