About 2 months ago I bought this great camera, the Canon Ixus 400. Making more than 1500 photos. Then I got an E18 error. The lens refused to focus an didn’t close when I turned it off. Eventually it closed again, but know it makes this terrible noise.
Just found a manual telling how you can repair it yourself. The arrow indicates the problem. Have six pages of instructions and that doesn’t include reassembling. One consolation, I’m not the only one.
