Night view
From my house I’m so happy with this unique view by Amsterdam standards.
House with a view
We are on the third and forth floor. We have no direct neighbours/buildings in the front and back. So it truly is a house with great views and plenty of sunshine.
End of this week we’ll move in.
Getting there
Today they layed the top floor. Looks more like a home now. We are moving in at the end of november.
There was a lot of work done together with my parents (they are a force of nature). We got rid of the wall making it one room. Got rid of all the pink painted boards covering glass in the doors and the railings by the stairs. And painted almost everything.
My new neighbours
The tree next to my (future) balcony is home to a dozen parrots almost every morning. This guy/girl was taking a nap just one meter away from me.
Home is where the heart is
After two years of moving from place to place (7 times) this is going to be it for the next ten or so.
Love at first sight. When I visited it for the first time with my oldest he told me right away “this is e real house” and I agreed.
